An endoscopic forehead lift or “browlift” is a procedure that rejuvenates an aging forehead for a more youthful, refreshed look to the area. The procedure corrects drooping brows and improves the horizontal lines and furrows that can make a person appear angry, sad or tired.
Endoscopic Browlift Procedure
The procedure can be performed under local or general anesthesia in an accredited and licensed ambulatory surgery center. Small hidden “keyhole” incisions are made behind the hairline and an endoscope (a specialized surgical telescope) is inserted to allow the surgeon to visual the anatomy without creating a large a noticeable scar. Certain small muscles that create the deep furrows in the forehead are incised and the tissue is then pulled and redraped to eliminate the remaining wrinkles.
