Want to firm, tone and strengthen your muscles in the abdomen, thighs and buttocks? Contact Atlanta Institute for Facial Aesthetics to find out if this FDA-cleared, non-invasive non-surgical body contouring treatment is right for you!
What is CoolTone™?
CoolTone™ uses magnetic muscle stimulation to cause involuntary muscle contractions leading to stronger, toned and more defined muscles. The CoolTone™ device received FDA clearance for improvement of abdominal tone, strengthening of the abdominal muscles, and development for firmer abdomen. CoolTone™ is also recommended for strengthening, toning and firming of the buttocks and thighs. Ultimately, FDA-cleared CoolTone™ achieves muscle stimulation greater than your average workout.
How Does CoolTone™ work?
The CoolTone™ applicator generates a magnetic field that creates a current when it passes through a conductive material. Muscles are good conductors of magnetic fields, unlike skin and fat, which are poor conductors. The induced current is stronger in the muscle layer and the body responds to these contractions by strengthening its muscle fibers and improving muscle conditioning. The result is stronger, firmer, and more toned abdomen, thighs, and buttocks.
What is Magnetic Muscle Stimulation?
CoolTone™ uses Magnetic Muscle Stimulation (MMS) to selectively deliver strong pulses to muscle tissues in a noninvasive manner. CoolTone™ MMS technology penetrates the muscle layers and induces involuntary muscle contractions, all in a safe and effective treatment. The body responds to these contractions by strengthening its muscle fibers, resulting in improved muscle conditioning. Whether targeting abdomen, buttocks or thighs, CoolTone™ strengthens, tones and firms the muscles in the treated area, resulting in a more defined and toned appearance.
How is CoolTone™ different from CoolSculpting?
CoolTone™ is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure intended to help strengthen and tone muscles. CoolTone™ does this via magnetic muscle stimulation, which basically shoots electromagnetic energy into your muscle to cause involuntary contractions. The body’s response to these involuntary contractions is to strengthen the muscle fibers underneath the targeted area of treatment.
On the other hand, CoolSculpting is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure where fatty tissue is cooled below body temperature, but above freezing. The fatty tissue undergoes localized cell death, thereafter the fat deposits are, over the course of several months, naturally processed and eliminated from the body. CoolSculpting is intended to reshape the contours of the body and is considered the number one non-invasive fat-reduction procedure in the world. for freezing and reducing fat.
Simply put, patients looking for better muscle definition may choose CoolTone™, while patients looking for fat removal may choose CoolSculpting.
For the best results, CoolTone™ can be a great compliment to CoolSculpting to achieve the maximum results you seek.
Am I a Candidate for CoolTone™?
Our ideal candidates are already sticking to a healthy and active lifestyle and looking to increase the definition of their muscles in areas such as the abdomen, glutes, arms or thighs. If this sounds like you, then contact Atlanta Institute for Facial Aesthetics to schedule your consultation with one of our certified advanced trained technicians.
How Long is Each Session? How Many Sessions Will I Need?
For abdomen and buttocks, clinical studies show the best results with 4 treatments of 30-minute sessions, twice a week for 2 weeks. The number of CoolTone™ sessions will vary depending on the number of areas you want to treat, but we will help you create an individualized treatment plan tailored to your specific goals. We may also schedule additional sessions in order to meet your goals and recommend one treatment every 3 – 6 months to maintain initial results.
